Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Anyone know if it is a legal requirement for all Irish business websites to be complient with Web Accessibility Standard 2.0?

Someone mentioned this to me today.

There doesnt seem to be a clear message after a Google search...

    Thanks!

It's an EU requirement for public sector bodies to meet the requirements but not for businesses. For non-government sites/applications it's a moral requirement but not a legal one.

Where you can get into trouble is if you are offering goods or services to the public that are only available through an in-accessible website or application. In those circumstances you are deemed to be discriminating against a minority and are liable to legal action as a result.
