Who does the work for competitions at your club? Is it a volunteer sub committee or paid staff? Or a combination of the two?
If it's not the staff, why not?

My Da is a comp secretary for his club. Volunteer role. With all the moaning and grief I hear he gets from members have to say I wouldn't bother, but he loves his golf and loves the club so fair play to him.
