Treatment options and costs involved

I was in work yesterday and after biting down on something I felt one of my front tooth crack. I knew there and then that my tooth was fecked. It was very loose and I could feel the crack at the back with my tongue. I went messing with It when I got home and low and behold the tooth came out .most of the tooth is gone but there is still a bit protruding from the gum. Worried now that this is going to cost a fortune . Is it an implant I'm looking or can this be build up and crowned? If the latter will I need a root canal? What do you think the costs will be ? Thanks
