    Hi Folks

my bathroom extractor fan has stopped working. I've opened it up and it doesn't seem to be particularly dirty or clogged. When I switch it on there is absolutely no movement. Would anyone know if there is any basic troubleshooting I could try? And if not would anyone recommend a replacement? There are no windows in the bathroom and I am in a hard water area (but with a water softener) in case that is relevant.

I think this is the make and model - https://www.fastlec.co.uk/ventilation-extractor-fans-bathroom-extractor-fans/vortice-ariett-t-surface-centrifugal-timer-fan-100mm-4

Thanks to anyone who gets back to me with any suggestions.

    Dakan.

Double check the fan isolator (possibly above door) is switched on

I have had this problem in the past and just replaced the Control Board. You may be able to source a spare.
