Can I backdate the work from home €3.20 entitlement?

Hi, I am an employed director of my own company. I have been working from home effectively since the start of the pandemic. I am entitled to pay myself this €3.20 a day. Does anyone know when this came into effect and if I can backdate it to 2020? Cheers!
