Is there any companies that allow you to open gates using an app.We currently are with Barrow automation and was wondering are there any companies in Carlow or Leinster or Ireland that allow you to open up your gates with an app on iPhones

There are lots of devices out there that can be added to allow the gates be opened remotely, the simpliest one is a GSM dialer where you call a number and then press a digit to open or close the gates accordingly, barrowside should be able to fit that ir not most electricians can do it.

To have your gates opened by an app will need connectivity at them either via 3g/4g sim card or wifi/network cable and to have a device fitted that can interpret the signal and trigger the correct relay. What options you have for this will depend on the make and model of the gate control box again most electricians can fit these for you.
