    Hi Folks,

Can someone tell me where the Randox test centre is in T2?

The map makes it look like it's out in the long term car park and the automated phone number is no good.

    Thanks..

It's here(red pin), you need to go up and cross the over pass and back down on the other side of the road, get out of any of the car park buses at terminal 2

Anyone recently did the rapid antigen test for travel? Did the result come back in under 1 hour as advertised or did it take longer?

With randox at the airport I should have added ^^^

Mine arrived within about 20 minutes this morning.

There was a big queue outside so wrap up if you're going, they were behind on appointment times. There was also limited appointment availability for the peak travel period so book in advance.

I was in and out in 2 mins last Saturday morning. Results in about 20 mins via email. Antigen test

I was queuing for over an hour this evening so be prepared to wait, even if you have an appointment.

The result came through in about half an hour.

Anyone having trouble with the Randox website the last few days? Keeps putting me into a queue to enter the site and then gives an error message when it’s my turn. Never had this problem when using it the last few weeks/months .

@ The GoatOne, I tried to make an appointment this afternoon, Randoc website is down, too much traffic it cant handle obviously.

I rang the call centre , the girl said to keep trying, they are aware the website is down and have IT working on it.

She was unable to take a payment over the phone or take a booking. Useless to me as was the HSE self referral website for a PCR test.

The HSE website is useless, when you try to select an available time slot, its just says ERROR.

So I just went with another private company doing PCR drive thru testing at the Carlton Hotel beside Dublin airport.

Vida care , its €129 for a PCR test. I got an appointment for 08:30am tomorrow morning, unfortunately you have to pay to 100% guarantee a PCR test.

Appreciate the reply. I thought as much alright. Do you/anyone know if they are strict with appointment times? I’m due to fly out on the 26th morning and need to get tested beforehand. Have an appointment for 8:45 but I think that might be a bit tight now so was planning to head up a bit earlier and hope they’ll test me before my appointment time.

I was tested there a few times and you be fine if you go before the time... i always went before the time in case of queue and was never questioned...

Excellent thanks. Puts my mind at ease somewhat anyway.

The reviews for randox at Dublin airport are really bad.

we too are flying out Mon 27th to USA, taking rapid antigen test Sunday morning 26th .

I don’t know what I’ll do if they don’t email it over within the 1-2 hours they promise as advertised !

300 people in the queue when I got there, about 90min wait.. appointment time missed by a lot

Yeah I’m flying to USA on 26th morning so don’t really have much choice other than to tested just beforehand. I’m arriving at the airport around 5 hours before the flight so hopefully I’ll be fine

That’s mad. Obviously a lot of people heading away for Christmas / new year then.

this is what happens when idiots like Holohan and the gang over react and give everyone a miserable Christmas

Anyone know what the story with parking cost is? Tells you on the booking where to go but doesn’t say how much …

Missed the appointment by how long? What time of day with this?

I have a 3pm testing time for a 5.40pm flight, starting to worry its too tight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,177 ✭✭✭✭Caranica

That is almost certainly too tight. Dublin airport advice is to arrive to the airport 3 hours before departure at the moment

In randox on Sunday morning , if that’s the case with the queues I’ll be heading 90 mins earlier than my time

Was either €3 or €3.50 per hour, you can pay at the machines on the 3rd floor or pay by credit/debit card on the exit barrier.

My flight to JFK tomorrow was cancelled unfortunately so there’ll be one less person in the Randox queue anyway.

By about 80 mins for my appointment at 1:30pm. I arrived at 1:15pm for a flight at 5:20pm but never really had a moment to sit down or grab a coffee, mostly queueing the entire time. Bear in my my flight was the 23rd, usually less busy after that.

They just care you have an appointment, thats it so I wouldn't worry about being early or late. Result arrived for my wife in about 20mins, myself about 35 mins. Security is slow as well, I would give 4.5hrs before flight time, and I did online check in without bags.
