Water filtration for whole house supply from mains

Live in area with lots of lime which causes problems. Does anyone know of types of installation and costs for filters on mains input to house? I’m refurbing bathrooms in new year and don’t want new fittings ruined in a few years. Thanks.

Between €750-900 depending on your water hardness, numbers in household & supplier of the equipment.
Clack being the best IMO but have higher install cost.
