Anyone interested in a DIY home energy evaluation can borrow the CODEMA Energy Saving Kit from your Public Library. Check for draughts, fridge/freezer temperature, appliance electrical consumption, room temperature and humidity, etc. Includes a handbook on energy saving tips. Useful tools to give and overall indication of areas for improvement however for grants etc you still need a professional BER audit.
