Irish Trucks registered in Eastern Europe

    In the last 10 or so years there seem to be alot of Irish haulage company's registering there trucks in Bulgaria and Poland.

    Is this legal or are they just confident it will not be enforced ?

    You do know the one of the basics of the EU is free movement of people and goods. All perfectly legal.

    It's called flagging out basically vehicle tax insurance maintenance cheaper to get done in the country the truck is registered in.
