Major splash made by the Mets signing Scherzer, Marte and others. $250 million committed, blowing past the luxury tax threshold.

Rangers 'all-in' with Seager, Gray, Semien and someone named Calhoun, which is a name out of central casting for the Rangers. Just needs a Stetson.

Kluber from the Yankees to the Rays, weakens one team while strengthening a foe in the same division.

Other teams signing like crazy as well, no surprise high-end pitching is going for big money.

Plus, there may be a lockout till February, which fans like us hate, rich guys dickering with other rich guys to the detriment of all of us, and it won't make games easier or cheaper to enjoy. A pox upon all their houses.

Sad to see Seager leave the Dodgers. Always liked him, but seemed inevitable. I think Dodgers will have trouble making signings this season. Too much money already locked up.

There are a few players, who have been great servants for the Dodgers, that are hitting the end of their career. Justin Turner for example.

Probably need at least 1 more starting pitcher to come in (excluding Kershaw)

    We have a season!

I thought the owners were going to try to squeeze too much.

Just saw an article that the Y*****s won't have a few players when they play in Toronto because they aren't vaccinated and Canada's not having that.

I wonder how they can play in the Bronx with all the kerfuffle about the Nets and that eejit Irving. Maybe indoors/outdoors or crowd levels or something. NYC's just relaxed restrictions though.

FFS. It's March 2022. The vaccines are safe. Wins matter especially with expanded playoffs. How freaking selfish are these jerks? Imagine losing a couple early games in Toronto and just missing out because you didn't field your best players.

    Madness.

Freeman to NYY. Glad the Mets won't have to see him as often as in the past.

You must have been premature. Freeman gone to the Dodgers.
