Vodafone router wifi 6 capable?

Hey, can't seem to find a straight answer for this online. Does anyone know if the standard vodafone broadband router is wifi 6 capable?

Changed provider recently and I normally use a wired connection but it's not viable with vodafones router placement.

About to order a wifi card for my PC. Would I be better off getting a good wifi 6 card or going for one of the multi pronged wifi 5 cards. Does the router even support wifi 6? 500mb connection.

Is it new way to say about MIMO ?

This router only 2x2 MIMO AFAIK ,so no fancy 4x4 MIMO WiFi card would help.

ps. Are you aware that you could shift Vodafone router to any place you like ?

All you need is new Ethernet cable ( up to 100m long)

- another option would be WIFI Mesh system. Quite expensive as cheap one won't get you 500mbps around the house.

Sorry poor choice of words, multi aerial. As with the way wifi 5 works the more aerials the better right? Each aerial can receive/send packets from/to the router and act as a unique device so you get better speeds.

Moving the router or using ethernet is not viable with the router placement. Those cables are thick and it would have to run through and past multiple doors.

I just want to get as close to the 500mb speed for downloads as I often download large files.

Is it worth my money buying a wifi card that has 3-4 aerials over the 2 standard or would I be better off buying another cheap router, connecting to that via ethernet and connecting the 2 routers together via wifi?

Edit - There's only around 10-15 feet between the PC and the router with 2 thin non brick walls between. Latency is also important as I play some games online.

I used this cable, extremely thin ( 5mm ) and flexible, capable of gigabit speed .

As for the WiFi , it is tricky enough to get 500 mbps wireless, what is your top WiFi speed in same room where PC is ?

You always could get WIFI card ( external directional arial would be preferable choice) from Amazon. Stability is the key factor. Make sure it is sold by Amazon not by third party seller so you could send it back within 30 days by prepaid post with no questions asked.

They are 4x4 MIMO , great to penetrate walls and create seamless MESH wireless coverage around the house ( just disable WiFi on your ISP router)

Two of those should create stable low latency wireless link up to 500-600 mbps if you lucky .

Nothing, for reasonable price, replaces Ethernet connection and its reliability. If cannot run cable internaly review options for cable run through atick or outside.
