Charging devices in U.S

    Might be a stupid question but do I need a transformer to charge apple devices in the states, IPad, iPhone, Apple Watch,AirPods?

    It's 2021. Electronic devices are pretty much plug and charge at this stage.

    Your phone/device charger is already a transformer. converting the mains AC voltage to 5v DC. Any one I've ever seen operates on an input of 100-240V, meaning that it'll work fine on US voltage (120V). If in doubt, check the chargers's input voltage in the small print on it, but you're 99.99999% guaranteed it'll work. All you have to worry about is adapting the pins for it to physically fit in the US socket.

    Devices with motors are the most common things you need an external transformer for when moving between US and Europe. A European hairdryer will run at half speed if plugged straight into US power. A US one will run at double speed (and probably burn out) if plugged straight into our sockets.
