Hello just looking to buy a PRD bursting disc (82800450) for a triton T80, a local hardware store told me that you can now only buy directly from Triton. Online its costing 5 euro and 7.50 postage for a piece of rubber the size of a 1 cent coin. I don't mind the price for the part as it is a very safety critical part, but the postage is a bit much. I rather buy 2 of them in a local store and have a spare as I live in a hard water area.

Local plumbing trade counters don't stock parts like these. They will be happy to get them in for you BUT they will have to pay the same postage from Triton & add on a profit to the €5 for the actual part. The reason the postage is so expensive is because they don't send regular post. If they stuck on a €2 euro stamp & popped it in the post box then you could claim not to have received it. The €7.50 is so they can track the item & know that it was delivered.
