Jamie Hughes is ruled out with covid, Jelle Klassen takes his place.

Jelle needs a good run here or he'll lose his tour card. Not guaranteed a spot at the worlds either and will have to go to the PDPA qualifier

Good to see Lewis win there. Showed patches of his old form

The coverage on ITV is absolutely farcical at times. Camera constantly missing winning doubles. Scoreboard went there for about 3 legs. Commentators waffling non stop.

There really is a gulf between Sky Sports and everyone else.

*They've also ruined Chelsea Dagger for me.

Alan Tabern, there's a player I've not seen in a while.

Johnny Clayton wins 6-4 against him in a poor quality match.

    Unlucky Keane Barry.

Lost 6-4 to snakebite in a great match. Both players averaging around 100.

Complete slogfest with Wright and Lewis. Edit: Lewis and Wright arguing at the end over something

I really don't like Adrian Lewis! I wonder what the big argument was about.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,708 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

I got a feeling it was when Wright paused on D16 for the 146 attempt

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,708 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

O'Connor's recent good form continues. After putting out Ratajski

Great win for Willie. Great to see him have a run in this.

Is there no way to watch the action on stage 2? Red button for example. Missing every Irish player so far (except Barry).

Again Gurney vs Wade clashes with Mvg vs Anderson tonight.

Nice result there for Dolan against Price.

    Well done Brendan Dolan

He's given Price trouble before if I remember right, world's last year?

Looking like a wide open tournament now , Wright and MvG not playing great

Could be shaping up for Jonny Clayton

The guy in the Rodney Trotter mask/cardboard face cutout 😂

Lewis really is a sore loser and a bully, not the first time he’s tried to intimidate his opponent after a loss.

    Glad he lost.

The most notable things Lewis has done in the last few years are the argument today and the argument with that Spanish lad in the floor tournament a few years back. Says it all really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,708 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

He's put up a whole rant on twitter about it:

Well done Dolan, thought he might bottle it but he closed it out well.

DeSousa off form but you can only beat what’s in front of you

yes, he's been fortunate enough to come up against two guys who played well below par

Great game that between Gurney and Searle. Lovely finish to win it for Searle. He's turning into a great player despite throwing those big chunky darts!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,621 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

Great 104 CO by Searle for the match, under high pressure with Gurney waiting on D20

I’d love to see him win it as he’s one of my favorite players

I've no idea how he throws those yokes, great stuff under pressure and a quality match.

Hopefully Jonny the ferret gives vvdv a good spanking

Seems to do nothing but moan and complain, can't stand him

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,708 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Dolan should've broken Searle's throw there

Dolan poor on doubles so far. He could be clear ahead in this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,621 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

    Delighted for Ryan Searle.

Hope he wins it out now.

No drama or histrionics just gets on with it and seems like a decent lad too
