    Hi,

any positive or negative views on a mat well/recessed mat over a standard mat inside the door of a tiled hall?

    thanks

Only positives with a recessed matwell. Won't move around, catch underfoot / under door / under suitcases, and you can take it out of the frame to clean or replace.

Coir is classic and looks good and is cheap.

The only downside is that you'll hate every other non-recessed mat in your life with the power of a thousand suns.

    Done. Looks good! Would recommend.

Some places know how to charge for a coir mat, especially for non-standard colour. shop around.
