Eir wifi connection

My wifi connection has become unstable lately. Most of the time it fails to connect, and it magically only starts to work only during late evening/ night time. My router displays a red light during the time it fails to work. I am using a Netopia wireless router.

    My internet provider is Eir.

What could be causing this problem?

    Thank you.

God help you if you have to deal with EIR technical support.

Have you got the original eir router? Maybe plug that in to determine if it's the router itself or the phone line. Noise on the line can cause intermittant issues. (Eir can test this)
