EIR F3000 Modem LAN port Link speed only 100Mbps, can this be upped?

Hey everyone, Im paying for 500mb broadband and sending out a ethernet cable through a tp link booster. The booster is capable of 600 but the lan port is on the F3000 seems to be only outputting 100Mbps. Is there a setting to up this output? (Let me know if i havent explained this greatly!) Cheers!

What model of TP Link? Some of the AV600 ones only have 100Mbps ethernet ports. I believe 600 represents the theoretical max link speed between the powerline plugs themselves (and is never really attainable in the real world).

If your model does support 1Gbps ethernet then may be a dodgy ethernet cable, in which case try another one.

Even the Gb one is unlikely to reach 500Mb. The speeds on the box are fictional.

You’ll never see 500 mbps speeds over Power Line , waste of time.
