Using Tesco Clubcard in the North - A quick guide!

The Clubcard from the ROI will not work when shopping in the north.

The way around this is to sign up on Tesco.com with any address in the north.

They will email you the Clubcard number (not the barcode)

When you arrive at Tesco, go to the scan as you shop guns and on the screen, there is a "my card wont scan" option

Input the code to your email and get all the club card only deals. (there is far more of them up north than down south)

    Huge savings to be made.

If you have an old or unused mobile you can configure it as a UK phone and install the Tesco Clubcard UK app. It's geoblocked and so won't install on an Irish mobile. You can do this without needing a UK mobile number. It's pretty handy as you can have your Clubcard vouchers sent directly to the app.

I was not able to figure out how to do the same with Sainsbury's Nectar Card as it seems to unavoidably require a UK number for verification.
