The power shower in there ensuite got so little use that tap seal perished.

The Supajet shower is no longer made. So I am considering replacing it with a mixer.

Don't need power or big flow rate.

Would I be better tackling this from inside the shower or the bedroom wall which is on the other. Side

    The attic is above.

    Thanks

You'll have to run around the shower to get wet if you rely on gravity without a pump.

Simplest option is to replace it with a Mira Vigour Thermostatic. It's almost a straight swap. Pipes and electrics all match up

We use gravity in the bathroom next door.

    Suits us fine.

Water lasts longer, and no noise

The mira is a 30 minute job replacing your supajet. It's by far the easiest job with the least mess. It is close to the same footprint as the supajet & will cover any large holes left behind it

The Mira does indeed make noise. To change to a different shower I'd remove the supajet first & see the size of the hole behind it. The hole could be 2 or 3 inches or it could be almost the size of the Supajet itself. The fact that it has silicone all around it suggests to me that there is a big hole behind it. Once you know the size of the hole you can come up with a plan of action. It's only when you see the size of the hole can you decide to tackle it from bedroom or shower side

Tried to buy the seal but when u get to the end it says not in stock.

The noise from the shower would be the killer for me.

Thanks for the replys and help

Supajet went bust around 6 years ago now. I would be supprised if you can source any parts at all. Suppliers stopped stocking parts a few years before they went bust because the quality of the parts were so bad. We stopped offering repairs on any Supajet around 10 years ago because we might have to replace the same part 3 times in a year but only getting paid for the first visit.
