Hi I'm trying to figure out if there's a leak from my aircon system. Mondeo mk4. I got it topped up early in the week and the dye they used is bright yellow. He did comment that there was no gas in it. I'm wondering will any uv torch pick it up? I don't want to be spending big money. Cheers

Yes, you can use UV light to find the leaks. It works only if system is loaded and dye is added to the system.
