I live in a house with fireplace in the Kitchen and front room. The house has oil heating and i rarely if ever use the fireplaces. The front room is tiny, and i want to remove and brick up the fireplace to make more room. Do i have to do anything like fitting a vent or chimney cap?, with having the second fireplace? or can i just go ahead and brick it up? i am new to this and would love some advice from somebody who knows what they are doing. Thanks in advance.
