Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dry Needling/Physio recommendation

    Hi there,

My partner needs to visit a physio. She previously got dry needling done by a physio in Pearse Street who has now left. She tried another physio in the same practice but wasn't impressed by the dry needling (barely inserted the needle, session was way too short).

I am wondering does anyone have dry needling physio recommendations? Based in D3 but will travel whereever is best.

Also, she could do with a physio who specialises in neck pain/headaches/headaches caused by tension. Any recommendation for this either? Saw Aoife Brady in Blackrock Clinic specialises in it but she is no longer there.

    Thanks!

The science behind dry needling is woolly at best. I've stopped going to physios because they offer it but they do it here: https://www.rebalancephysiotherapy.ie/

In terms of a physio I'd recommend, these guys are great but I dont know if they'd deal with the tension headaches as it isn't a problem I've had: https://www.dbc.ie/

Southside Physio (https://southsidephysio.com) in Foxrock have a very good reputation. I found Sarah there to be excellent on the dry needling and overall care front. Serious pain, though!
