    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help. I want to put a changer over switch to add a generator to my house. What I'm wondering is what size cable to I need to run from my generator socket on the wall to the change over switch? I have a 5 core 6sq, 7m distance cable ran to power my garage which has 2 spare cores. I was wondering would it be possible to use these? Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Regards,

    Aidan
