Get ready for the usual halfwits posting "thanks op,bought 10"
I had a Philips one. I had a cheap one. Both did the job. I'd get a cheap one first if I was you and if it works for you then look further. I know they don't work at all for some people. They either wake at the first bit of light or else the light doesn't wake them.
I have the Philips HF3520. My wife and I find it great for the winter, it does really help to gently wake you and its nice to wake up to the nature sounds alarm rather than the phone blaring.
Its also a very good bedside lamp, creates a real natural feeling light, and its dimmable in 20 increments which i find great as it helps me wind down at night too.
I have it 5 years now i think and its as good as the day i bought it . Just a heads up this is one of the items that usually gets a decent discount on black friday. Well worth holding out till then.
I got the “Lenovo (google assistant) Smart Clock” as a bargain alert from here a while back- and i really like it.
Nice to be able set alarms, get tomorrows weather etc just by talking to it.
Its still cheap- it does the slow brightness in the morning you requested but i dont notice it tbh.
“Roll it back”
Alarm clock you say?!
I believe this is the one I got after my last one broke, checking my previous orders it looks like they stopped doing the one originally advertised.
It has two alarm which is very handy, battery to keep the time if the power goes out, really lights up a room, has varying levels of light and gets pretty loud. Only complaint is I've dropped it the odd time and the facia come off but it snaps back on pretty handy. I'd honestly buy it again
Thanks first reply, bought one, stuck with an post
