    Would anyone know if PAYG Samsung handsets from 3 are coming unlocked these days ?

    No , some duel SIM models allow a second none network sim in second slot but you must have an active 3 sim in one slot for device to work.

    General rule of thumb with 3 particularly but likely the same with Vodafone, Eir, Samsung, Apple, High end Huawei phones locked to network. Lessor known brands, one plus, xiaomi are not network locked, but double check.

    Harvey Norman, Argos sell sim free, unlocked Samsung, you might pay a little more but worth exploring.

    has anyone bought a Samsung phone from three. Are they unlocked? Heard xiomi are but they are out of stock for couple of days now. could someone confirm ASAP please?
