Roof flashing around pipes.

Hi, I have just built a lean-to between the gable end of the house and the wall that runs along the side of the house.

I have cut a channel out of the pebble dash and plan to flash from the bare block to the roof and then dash over the top of the tape again.

Problem is I have a number of pipes coming down the gable end of the house. One is a standard down pipe and then there's a 110mm waste pipe and two other small drain pipes.

Im just wondering what the best way is to flash around these pipes is? I have one or two ideas myself but if anyone has experience of this it would be great to have some input.

    Cheers

You mean they are coming down effectively inside the lean-to you just built?

Flashing around them would certainly not be the norm.

Usually you would re-route them but im guessing they drain into something which is now inside your new shed.

Ive seen extensions where they have just cut the down pipe above the roof and let it drain into the gutter of the new structure.

Ye, if it wasn't for the 110mm waste pipe you could probably reroute, but I guess you wouldn't want any brown log jams in your gutter!💩🤣

There are pipe flashings available which might suit you.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Ended up getting 6" flashband and flashing around them before I flashed from wall to roof. It took a bit of work and time but should do the job, we will see after a good dose of rain. :-)
