Swan dishwasher

I bought this retro Swan dishwasher on Adverts 4 weeks ago for €110, it worked fine up until yesterday morning, now it has a constant warning/beeping sound & flashing red light on the 6h setting which it keeps defaulting to.

Had a look underneath & there doesn't seem to be any user serviceable parts, even the hose clips on the pump aren't removable.

Any advice on what the issue might be & if you think its even fixable would be much appreciated.

Contact Littlewoods. It their own brand product which they more than likely made by manufacturer in China.

Looking around there appears to no/zero engineer support when these Swan products have a fault.

If the glass light is on, then the flood valve has tripped. Remove the dishwasher & tilt is backwards to drain as much water as possible out of it.

Thank you Ongarite, it is indeed the glass light that's coming on, I'll try tilting it backwards tomorrow and see if that resets the flood valve.

    Regards and thanks again.

Got it working Ongarite, there was water also on the circuit boards so I took it all apart, dried it out with the heat gun & put on some new jubilee clips. Thank you so much for the advice.

pretty looking, but very basic and poor quality. However at €110 you did well and if you get a year or two out of it it will be worth it

Plenty of tips online if things go wrong too as well as the helpful guys here
