I recently purchased a house with a solid fuel stove and an oil boiler.

Can you please let me know which smart sat you use and how it is?

    Thanks.

We bought our house in the last couple of years and we have a solid fuel stove (with a back boiler) along with an oil boiler aswell. When switching energy provider after our first year in the house I noticed Energia had the cheapest rate along with a Netatmo smart thermostat for free which was along fitted for free.

We are delighted with it. We don’t used the auto features in it at all but only the switching on or off feature. Great to have the house warming up at a push of a button when out and about or having the heating set on a setting a schedule in advance all from the app.

I understand To get this system, your boiler has to heat the water and rads at the same time and won’t work with newer boilers who can separate them. You can get TSV values aswell with this system where you can turn off the heating to certain rads like a zoned system.
