I am doing a an online course - we have to come up with a business proposal.

I decided to come up with an idea of an accountancy practice.

I am just wondering where would I get information on the number of accountancy practices in Ireland?

Are any of them doing anything outside the usual accounts and audit work?

    Many thanks

You need to up your game a lot.....

Even a simple effort at using Google would have given you several documents and research papers on the profession. Go do your own research and then come back if you have questions.

This page here says there's about 1800 firm registered with Chartered Accountants Ireland: https://www.charteredaccountants.ie/Find-a-Firm

Plenty of accountancy practices offer services other than accounts and audit. Tax, consultancy, or internal audit services would be very common. What kind of 'other' are you thinking of?
