Cost to install new central heating

Hey Board people. My wife and I have been viewing some old houses in Dublin to buy, two of which do not have any central heating. The houses need a lot of other work and I think we have a (rough) grasp on the costs related to the other works but for the heating I have no idea. Both have gas line available in the area so we should be able to tap into that. I know it's a broad question with lots of variable but if someone could give me a price range in Dublin for a 3 bed-semi that would be great!

I came into this forum to ask the same question if anyone has a general idea of this cost. It would put a lot more houses on or off the viewing list.

Bought our house in 2018 and similar to yours there was no central heating. So for a new system (cold tank, hot water tank that can take solar panel, Bosch Worcester boiler), 9 rads (went for column style, not flat panel) and 2 bathrooms plumbed and incl sanitary ware I think it was 16k/18k. Bathroom fittings were mid range. Don’t believe I was ripped off, hope that helps

By the way I was told plumbing can be 2/3 times the cost of a rewire and it was closer to 3 times from my experiences. If that is still true it might by good to bear in mind

Thanks a mill for the info Ideo! I should probably add a couple k to account for the time since 2018. If things go our way we'll start getting serious with gathering quotes etc. but if you have any recommendations for a plumber and/or electrician in Dublin I'd be grateful. If you do please DM me - if not no hassle!
