Primary schools in Limerick city

Hi all, hoping to discuss the best primary schools in the city as the other thread is perhaps a little outdated.

We have a house in greystones near the Ennis Road so local schools and city centre schools perhaps more favoured.

He's been in the Naíonra Ríocht na Sí since he was 2 and we hope to enrol him in Primary in 2023. WHat are parents thoughts on the best schools right now?

If you want to stick with Irish then An Mhodhscoil (model school) on O'Connell Avenue is top notch. I went there and both my kids are there currently.

My son went to Gaelscoil Sairseal (all Irish School) when it was on Bridge Street, an excellent school. Now that it is in an actual school building on Shelbourne Rd (instead of an old courthouse) it is probably even better. Would save you a journey across the city too.

I don't think so, but we also had the advantage of an Irish pre-school, and I think they take that into consideration
