Water dripping from Fakro window

    Hi,

We recently got an extension done which has two Fakro windows installed. After heavy rain this evening, there's water gathered around the air vent of one of them. The air vent had been left opened on this wet one. The other window had the vent closed, and there's no moisture around it.

I'm wondering if I have a problem, or is normal for a window with an open vent to have water dripping from it?

    Thanks in advance.

What type of vent is this? A trickle-vent on the top of the window?

Are the windows PVC or alu-clad?

What type of moisture is it, pooled rain water or condensation? Where specifically in the vent is the moisture?

Does or did the vent get direct rain-fall overnight?

Do you have room-vents or are these the only vents in the room? ...and what type of room is the extension - a bedroom?
