Neighbours Cat being a nuisance

Next door neighbour have had a family member recently move home with a cat (male).

He is a very brave, cheeky cat.

Constantly coming into our house through any window we leave even slightly open to get some air in.

In addition there has been a number of sh1ts left on the grass in the garden recently. This cat is constantly coming into the garden and down in the bushes at the end of the garden where it is probably sh1tting too.

Apart from getting a dog, which is not an option, and mentioning it to the neighbour, what else can we do to keep the cat from coming into the house (without having to have our windows closed) and from into the garden where it is sh1tting.

It crawls along the top of the wall at the back garden, while it can probably get in other ways is there anything we can put on top of the wall to prevent it crawling along here? The wall has bushes either side of it.

    Thanks

Put some water into a spray bottle and spray the cat when it comes into your house. It'll get the message fairly fast.

Maybe hose it on a spray setting (not full whack) when you see it in the garden.

The cat won't be long figuring it out. Wouldn't make it into a deal with the neighbours as it should be sorted fast enough if you do the above.
