Hi,
I’ve an air to water heat pump system in my house 10 years. Can’t really complain but one time the motor broke on the fan and I’d no hot water or heat until it was fixed which was a week (was a long time with no hot water).
I’m planning solar pv in the near future to help heat water if it breaks down again but can’t as the buffer tank doesn’t have an immersion element. Is there a way to install one on the buffer tank or what can I do if fan breaks again and I’ve no hot water. Any ideas?
