Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

External wall insulation

    Hi all,

Just wondering what people’s experience with external home insulation is like? I’m currently thinking about it but have a few questions...

    Cost? Semi-detached house

    Is it worth the change?

I see a lot of people in estates doing side walls only? Is this because of planning or costs?

Can I change the look of the front wall of the house? ( partly made of brick)

And finally is it worth to do the side walls only? Would you have the same heat at home?

    thank you for advices

I don't think you can claim a seai grant if you don't insulate the whole house .

I would imagine this is due to cost unless property is listed I didn't think planning was required.
