The Galvanising is done after the product is made up. Can be tricky with items such as archs etc cos the heat could cause the metal to warp out of shape.

I'd second MacArt design, got a large set of gates from them that I'm delighted with. Had the lot sorted in around 10 days from ringing them to fitting, very easy to deal with and easy to get on with. They also only looked for payment when the job was done and I was happy.

Also tried this lad Gary from Budget Gates and Welding on Facebook (0851596910), very quick to turn up to collect the deposit and again to look for payment to galvanise, then never saw the lad again. Great for the auld sob stories and excuses when you ring him tho!

Thanks lads, had forgotten I'd posted this. Had a look at their website, looks just what I'm looking for. Good to get former customers reviews.
