    Hey

A couple of days ago, there was a unscheduled water outage to my house. I didn't realise when getting up, and powered up the shower, and left it running for 20-30 seconds without water. (was brushing my teeth)

Water has since returned, but shower still wont flow. I presume its air locked. I followed steps below to fix, but no joy.

I only tried below for 30 seconds or so, I thought it unsafe to leave a shower running with no water flow for too long.

Are there any further steps I can take?

    thanks in advance!

    • Remove the shower head, it screws off.
    • Let the shower hose hang straight down in the bath or shower.
    • Turn the flow dial all the way anti clockwise. (usually the bottom dial)
    • Turn the power selector to blue (usually the top dial)
    • Turn on the shower. This usually clears an airlock within 30 seconds or so

If you are comfortable with removing the cover then do so BUT make sure power to the shower is off. Have a look at page 17, figure 13, on the link above. The bleed screw should purge any air. If you have water to this point but still nothing coming from the hose then it's likely that the solenoid has blown

Great, thanks a mill for that Sleeper12! Looks straight forward, will do that tomorrow. It's good to know there's something left to do before getting in plumber to replace, only installed a year or so ago

It has a 2 years parts and labour warranty so if its not an airlock call Triton 01 6286711 & they will replace the solenoid free of charge
