A novice here who didn't realise there are many types of sand. What's the best kind to brush between paving stone path around the house? Pavers have been down for years but have gaps now.

Use Kiln -dried paving sand. About 8 euro a bag. Only use when the paving stones are dry. Pour the sand onto the ground and brush in and brush in and brush in. Don't worry too much about excess (not too much excess!) sand on the ground, come back tomorrow and re-brush. A bag will go a long way as you are only filling crevices.
