I have a Mira Elite ST that has just been removed. I want to store if for a while but there is still water in the element. How do I drain it?

Leave water in it. Plug entry & exit pipes. Don't store it for long as motor can seize. New motor costs around €130 plus postage

I think my other shower is on the way out and was keeping this one just in case it packs up.

Can it not be stored as all?

It can & it might not seize up at all. Even leaving it on the wall & not using it, the motor could seize up. If it's better than the one on the wall then maybe change it now & keep other one as spare
