Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gummy smile - short upper lip

As per the title. I've never been able to close my mouth fully without effort. At rest there is at least a 10mm gap between upper and lower lips. When I smile the upper lip pulls upwards exposing a lot of my upper gum and it is something that I dislike greatly. I do have a weak lower jaw which might be part of the problem.

I don't particularly want to get botox nor gum contouring as I just don't like the idea of them.

What options do I have here?

    Thanks.

Having read more into this, it would seem like it is actually lip incompetence (mentalis strain). Can this be corrected in adulthood?

Hi. Looking back into this. Is it an orthodontist referral I need?
