Your thought on what I should expect.

    After a long time looking for a style of flooring I found something I liked in style an colour. Which was duly purchased. When delivery was to be made the shop rang and asked if i was ready for the delivery in fairness i wasn't but was prepared to take it anyway. They explained they were short on the skirting board and had no problem holding on to it for as long as I needed. "Packed and labeled for you on a shelf".

    Fast forward I am ready I have installer lined up. I called to get delivery, my goods are gone they have no idea where. They don't have stock of same and have no idea as to when they will have again.

    My biggest problem is I have a Kitchen Ordered with the counter matching as close as possible to the floor and a new downstairs bathroom also with touches of matching tones. Both of these suppliers are rightly looking to get these installed.

    The shop has sent samples of stock they have to fill the job but nothing matches. There is one possible though its not great and I feel I would never truly be happy.

    They have one that would fit but its over twice what I paid.

    What solution should I accept here?
