Im thinking the 5800x and need everything else including powersupply/Case/Ram/Motherboard/Storage.

Old PC is been used as backup and media centre.

I don't really have a budget but don't want to spending on stuff just for the sake of it. Okay motherboard/case and parts will do if you get me.

Need someone to spec out a PC. I'm not 100% sure on what parts to get.

I'd drop CPU down to 5600X, though 5800X is cheaper per-core.

You need a CPU cooler! Anything with 4+ heatpipes & 120mm+ fan is good. Scythe or Noctua are easiest to install, I'd go with Noctua NH-U12S if you want long-term support. Scythe Fuma 2 is good, too.

Motherboard, I'd pay another 50 for Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX v2. WiFi/Bluetooth, lots of USB ports, overkill VRM, good looks.

Case, Phanteks P400A Digital RGB is an easy recommendation, but other cases to consider would be Corsair 4000D Airflow, Lian-Li Lancool II & Lancool-215, Cougar MX-410 Mesh, be quiet 500DX.

Power supply, the superb EVGA GT 750W is on sale on ComputerUniverse: https://www.computeruniverse.net/de/p/90819825

Lastly, you're looking at buying from MindFactory - they don't ship to non-German addresses without a mail forwarder. I highly suggest to use Amazon/Caseking/ComputerUniverse instead, as you'll be screwed if you have to send any part back!

Many thanks for the help Koki. I'm going to order tomorrow. So I've come with the below now based on your recommendations. I've decided to go all out on the CPU. Hopefully order tomorrow. Anything from the below you'd change?

That Corsair RAM kit is actually worse than the one you picked before - 3600 CL18 instead of 3600 CL16.

Noctua NH-D15 is honestly dick-wagging overkill - double the price of NH-U12S for 2-3C difference. That price buys you better fans, or a bigger SSD.
