Submitted CG1 Return, but I am about to move house and need to register for LPT

    Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice. I submitted my CG1 return form about two weeks ago, using the address I currently live in. I have just bought an apartment and will be moving in within the next week or two. I need to register for LPT so I can submit the valuation and pay before the deadline, but I'm a bit hesitant about changing my registered address on the Revenue website as I'm not sure if the CG1 return has been processed by Revenue yet and I don't want to mess anything up if they see a different address on their system when they go to process the return.

Part of the CG1 return form said to include an envelope with a return address, but I haven't received anything in the post yet which is why I'm unsure if it has been processed yet, and that's what's making me hesitant about changing my address. Does anyone have any advice on if it's safe to change my registered address or if I should wait a few more days/a week?

    Thanks.
