Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

I've backed up all my dvds to computer files and was wondering if there was a windows movie player that can play them but also retrieves information about movie from imdb so I can see what the movie is about before I play it.

    Thank you in advance.

I use Kodi. It has ability to locate movie and TV show information from IMDB (and other sources, via plugins). It can also download subtitles, if needed. If running on a PC connected to a TV, it can be controlled with the TV remote, if the connection supports it (HDMI-CEC).
