GAMING PC ADVICE

Hi there, 12 year old is looking for a gaming pc for Christmas. Would anybody have any advice/links as to where I could get a decent one? Would need wifi and he also wants to be able to play his VR on it. Totally clueless here just don't know what I should be looking for. I did raise a post a while back but any of the ones in that were no longer available by the time I got advice on them. Would like to get something to last a few years if possible. Hoping to not spend much more than €800, is this completely unrealistic? Thanks in advance to any replies 🙂

Thanks so much, which would you recommend of the two? Would the storage be sufficient? How do I get the Dell discount - would I need to sign up for something? I really haven't a clue about this stuff 🤔

For Dell Advantage, just Google and give a working work or student email address.

But I'd recommend the Lenovo, it's a faster machine by far and more likely to run games without issue for a few years.

Regarding storage, 2Tb hard drives are around 40eur online, and 4Tb around 77eur. Very easy to install.

Thanks so much again. Really appreciate it. I know you advised me on the last post too but unfortunately the one you recommended was gone by the time I got back to them. Ill check out that lenovo one. If you come across any other decent machines in the meantime you might let me know again if you don't mind.

If you have the funds, I'd hop on the Lenovo ASAP.

Current PC climate I'm even surprised they'd put it on sale instead of increasing the price.

Never bought a full PC from them as I build my own for 30 years but ! Never had an issue with them buying parts. Totally reliable so would assume the full PC is the same.

Ok, hopefully it will be available for a little longer, it's over budget but will try get sorted ASAP. 👍
