Hi there. Anyone know when getting a replacement gas boiler installed what is involved. Apart from the boiler itself, where else would installer need access too, hotpress?, would they typically need to go into attic? I assume rads would have to drained also.

    Thanks

90% of the work is local to the boiler location. Realistically they will need to drain the system but could keep alot of the system water by closing the radiator valves in each room. Outside of that access to your gas meter, if you have an open system your attic also and your hotpress.

I would also say if fitting a new boiler get a filter such as a magnaclean or similar fitted.
