Replacing record player on old PYE sound system

    Hi all,

I have a class old sound system that needs the record player replaced. I took it to a few places to get it fixed but it is beyond repair. The tape-deck, radio and speakers are working fine so want to see if I could put a new record player in and connect to the speakers.

I am thinking of getting something like this into it to replace it (Pro-Ject Primary E review - not allowed post links to it)

    Would this be possible?
