Trying to figure out where to put figures. Is aggregate consideration field sale of property amount or sale of property amount less fees associated? If the former where do associated fees go?

Likewise with cost of property plus associated fees, where does this go, 5a perhaps?

It used to be PPR, do I complete a separate field for amount of indexation relief?

I've looked everywhere but I dont see any form examples only hypothetical examples. I'm happy with the figures when I paid last year just need to know the above to complete the form, thanks

    hi,

not an accountant but doing the same myself today - heres what i gather from it -

aggregate consideration is the amount the asset was sold for (or amount it was worth if traded)

5(a) is for Principal Private residence relief - so you claim the portion if th Aggregate consideration that the property was your PPR so if you lived in the property all the time you owned it you put the same same figure as above in 1(h)

where do you post the CG1 form to? i cant find an address for it?

    thanks

    FT

Yes, it looks like the cost of the property doesn’t go on the form nor do fees etc. I asked an accountant last night. As long as your tax figure is good that seems to be all that matters. I uploaded mine via my enquiries on revenue website.

Yes, I had asked them before if an online return was available and they said to fill it in and upload via my enquiries
