Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having seen Dundrum flood a few times over the past 30 years why is it affected much worse than surrounding areas?

that's the 25" map (approx 100 years old) overlaid over the modern map. note 'weir' and 'sluice'.

the shopping centre is literally built over a river.

Its built on a floodzone, water comes down from the mountains.

Same thing will happen again, until they knock down part of the centre.

There was a bad flood years back, all the cottages in Farrenboley / Millmount were flooded out of it.

People had to sleep in the library.
